Lehigh Relay for Life Committee Names Honorary Chairperson
Lehigh Relay for Life committee meet and has named Andrea Shields the Honorary Chairperson for April 6th event is. The committee also has chosen Ron Angel as the Memorial Chairperson.
The theme of this year’s event is “Making Cancer History”.























What is Relay For Life?
Relay For Life is the signature event for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is an 18 hour walk, where at least one member of your team walks the track during the full 18 hours.
Everyone is invited to attend the Lehigh Relay For Life, starting at 2:00 pm, Saturday April 6, at Veterans Park Academy on Homestead Road. Meet friends, enjoy food, games, entertainment and learn what Relay is all about.
Relay is a community volunteer team event, in the fight against cancer. It is overnight, and fun filled, where families, clubs, schools, businesses, churches, service groups, public employees, healthcare professionals and others, form teams to fight against this terrible disease
The power of Relay allows a community to grieve for those lost to cancer and to celebrate the lives of survivors. Fundraisers take place during the year with garage sales, online donations, golf tournaments and other activities
Who can help? Anyone and everyone. If you cannot put a team together we’ll find you a team.
Relay For Life reaches diverse populations with lifesaving information. It increases the awareness of the programs and services offered by the American Cancer Society in communities throughout our nation and the world.
