Biviano “BiBi” Figueroa, 63
Biviano “BiBi” Figueroa, age 63, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
He was born on March 22, 1949 in Manati, Puerto Rico, the proud son of Ana (Velez) and Biviano Figueroa Sr.
BiBi was a longtime employee in the Transportation Department for the Lee County School District. He was always known as a kind and humorous co-worker who constantly mentored and assisted his fellow bus drivers. He was a whiz at knowing the many school bus routes and earned his knickname of “Mr. GPS.”
He loved the outdoors, spending his free time in the sun and tending to his flock of Homing Pigeons. In recent years BiBi became a motorcycle enthusiast and you could probably find him riding his Harley Fat Boy during his spare time. Biviano was an active member of the Harlistas-Boricua riding group.
BiBi was a devout Christian man who leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Jenny (Rosado) Figueroa; two children he adored, son, Andre Michael Figueroa Sr. (Nattalie) and daughter Aimee Beth Figueroa-Castro (Victor); Grandchildren, Andre Michael Figueroa Jr., Victor Castro Jr., Caitlyn Castro, Gabriella Castro and Julian Castro; Brothers Jacinto, Carlos and Efrain; Sisters Milagros, Ramona, Teresa, Julia, Blanca and Carmen, Nieces Liza, Shivanna, Erica, Jovanna, Jessica, Janessa, Samantha and Sumira; Nephews Angel Jr., George, Terrance, Deontae, Matthew, Jerrimie and Angel Sr.; Great Nephew Elijah; Great Niece Jesenia; Sisters-in-law Helen and Lola and Brother-in-law Julio. BiBi is preceded in death by his loving parents.
A visitation will be held from 3-7:00 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the Chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, Florida 33971, (239) 368-7080.
