Valentine’s Day 2-for-1 “Sweetheart Special”
Spend a lovely day at the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium with someone special. One free admission with each paid admission.

Moonstruck!
Join us in the planetarium for a program to become ‘Moonstruck’ and amazed by our closest celestial neighbor. The moon offers fabulous views of craters, mountains, and many additional surface features. We’ll go outside and look at the moon through telescopes after the inside program. You will be ‘Moonstruck’ by what you can see! Free admission, donation suggested.

Presidents ‘ Two Day Camp – “Archaeology Adventure”
Learn all about our past through fun-filled adventures and activities such as mask-making and shelter-building. Members $70.00 Non-members $80.00. Call the Nature Center to register 275-3435.

Preschool Program – Camouflaged Critters
Learn about some amazing animal adaptions and how animals hide! We will meet some shy critters that like to fool us! Games and a craft are included. For children between the ages of 3 and 5. Call the Nature Center to register by Jan 16th 275-3435.

Night Hike
Come learn what animals come out once the sun goes down. Your experience will begin with a nocturnal animal presentation followed by a walk through one of our 3 trails for a “critters at night” experience. Bring your flashlight and wear appropriate shoes. $10.00 non-members, $8.00 members. Max 15 hikers. Register early and advance payment required.
Saturday, February 23rd, 1:00-3:00pm
“Go Fly a Kite” Workshop
Build a durable, 42″ Eco KIte, using bamboo and recycled paper. Workshop will include all materials to build and fly a durable, 42″ kite and special kite string paddle. Conducted by Master Gardener/Master KIte Builder Bob Soter. Participants must bring 2 men’s neckties, for the kite tail. Limited to 20 students. Cost: $30, no refunds. Registration Deadline: 2/20/2013.
