Roger Ebert, 70
Roger Ebert, the most famous and most popular film reviewer of his time who become the first journalist to win a Pulitzer Prize for movie criticism and, on his long-running TV program, wielded the nation’s most influential thumb, died Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. He was 70.
Ebert had been a film critic for the Chicago Sun-Times since 1967. He had announced on his blog Wednesday that he was undergoing radiation treatment after a recurrence of cancer.
Lloyd “Terry” Altemose, 71
Lloyd “Terry” Altemose, age 71, of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Clinton, New Jersey passed away at Gulf Coast Medical Center on Thursday, March 28, 2013 after a brief illness.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on February 21, 1942, the proud son of Marion (Knight) and Lloyd Altemose of Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania.
Terry leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his loving wife, Margaret “Peg” Altemose, at home, with whom he celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on October 30, 2012.

Harry Joseph Ludwig, 96
Harry Joseph Ludwig, age 96, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Hope Hospice House of Lehigh Acres.
Harry was born May 10, 1916 and lived in Queens, New York. He was a soda and then bread deliveryman in New York City and was active in establishing the union in his industry. He was married to Kaye until her death in 1992.
In 1972, Kaye and Harry moved to Lehigh Acres where Harry worked for the Lehigh Corporation. He had a very full life in Lehigh Acres and was active in his church, growing oranges and grapefruit, volunteering with the police department and in the senior citizens center.
Harry is survived by his dear friend Pat Grotsky; his sons William, James and Lee; his grandchildren Billy, Carl, Diane, Donna, Karen and Stacey and several great-grandchildren. Sadly, his daughter Elaine predeceased him in 1999.
