One-hour orientation and exact duties of volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem child advocate. Open to Florida residents, who are at least 21 years old, have 8-10 hours monthly to volunteer on their own schedule with program support, after free training. About 40 percent of Lee County’s abused, neglected and abandoned children still need an advocate to speak up for their future.
