Couple Wed
at Festival Parade

The Lehigh Acres Spring Festival parade Ia now over for the year and Rick Maus, and Michael Ross, are officially husband and wife.

The bride and groom were the first couple to get married in the history of the annual Lehigh Acres Spring Festival. The wedding party came in on the first float.

In front of crowds of family and friends and 100’s of strangers, they both said “I do” to a lifetime of love and devotion.

Everyone wore yellow, the ceremonial color of the event and the vows were made right in front of G. Weaver Hipps School. It’s where the Maus family has sat to watch the grand parade for almost 30 years.
