Do Our Local Politicians
Really Understand

Florida Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto, Florida Representative Matt Caldwell, Lee County Commissioner Judah Judah and Lee County Commissioner Frank Mann.
Thank you for coming to our community of Lehigh Acres last Friday. However, I hope in the future you will be more discerning of how people can use your presence and your elected office to imply that you support their devious actions and motives. Too many politicians do this and I find it to be very distasteful.
It was absolutely disgraceful the way East County Water Control District, Commissioner Michael Welch harassed Robert Anderson, of the Lehigh Acres Gazette and used the Sheriff’s Dept. to get him to leave the property. It was published in the “The Voices of Lehigh” in the Merchant Marketer (a grocery store tabloid) that this was a public event where elected officials were in attendance.
After last Friday’s performance by Welch, as he attempted to pimp and parade our elected officials before us at the Lehigh Acres Flea Market, you may appreciate the levity of Doug Patterson’s article (Click Here) today referencing Lehigh Acres’ struggle for self-determination and freedom from dictatorial influences.
History is a great teacher. Eventually all dictators suffer a similar fate:
Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti, He served as the fifth president of Iraq from 1979 until 2003 (He was found cowering in a hole by U.S. forces). 24 Years of Tyranny
Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak, He served as the fourth President of Egypt from 1981 to 2011 (He was sentenced to prison for the rest of his life). 30 Years of Tyranny
Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, He served as Leader” of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya from 1977 to 2011 (He also was fund cowering from those he tortured). 34 years of Tyranny
While Lehigh Acres residents haven’t suffered physical abuse to my knowledge, they have suffered mental, psychological and financial abuses through the use of this type of political dictatorship and propaganda, reminiscent of Chicago mob strong-arm tactics and even that of the National Socialist Germany Worker Party rise in the 1930s.
Lehigh Acres residents can no longer tolerate the draconian and dictatorial actions of Welch and anyone he represents or embraces that person’s imperialist mindset. As a community, we must condemn political thuggery wherever it appears and we must root it out of our political process. It is the People that have the true Power, not the employees that “WE THE PEOPLE” hire. We must STAND UP and drive them out by any means. It is the RIGHT of the PEOPLE to dictate not hired employees!
