Eleventh Dollar Type Store Heading to Lehigh Acres

According to the Edd Wiener the Chairman of the Lehigh Acres Planning Panel the 11th Dollar type store will be coming to Lehigh Acres to the corner of Gunnery and 8^th St.

According to Kathie Ebaugh Lee County Planner during the LACPP, The county has engaged Ensite to provide planning an design study on Lehigh Acres at a price of $568,000.

The study will do a assessments on utilities, stormwater, transportation and economics of the two development area in Lehigh Acres Homestead Road (Downtown) and the old Admiral Lehigh Resort area on Joel Blvd.

This project with Ensite should been done by November. Ebaugh stated there is 1.5 million dollars assigned to development of Homestead Road.

During the LACPP meeting the Metro Christian Fellowship presented the redevelopment of the church’s property at 102 Leeland Heights East.

Ebaugh also said that the Lehigh Acres new community compact codes are now in effect as of today. Now developers in Lehigh Acres have a choose.
