2012 Pageant Winners

Lehigh Spring Festival Pageant deadlines will be here before you know it!

As a reminder, this year’s Pageant will be held on Sunday March 17, 2013, under the direction of Pageant Director Judy Carter.  She will be assisted again this year by Patty Jackson and DiAnna Reisinger.

The deadline for the Queen and Junior Princess competition is Feb 28, however rehearsals will begin on Feb 24 at Footnotes Dance Studio.  The remaining rehearsal schedule will be provided to each contestant on the 24^th.  Choreographed dance routines, instruction on pageant protocol, interview techniques, and modeling tips will be provided to the Queen and Junior Princess contestants.  Girls aged 9 thru 13 are eligible for the Junior Princess Title and girls aged 14 thru 18 are eligible for the Queen Title. 

The Prince and Princess deadline is March 9.  This competition is open to boys and girls ages 4 thru 8.  There are no rehearsals for this age group, but there will be a meeting for all contestants prior to pageant day so they can see the stage, practice walking, and review typical interview questions.

The Toddlers competition is open to all children from newborn thru 3.  The deadline for entry is March 15.

The attire for this year’s pageant should coincide with the theme, “You Can’t Stop the Beat.”  Outfits that relate to those worn in “Hairspray the Musical” are appropriate.  There will be a prize awarded to the best costume for the Prince and Princess as well as the Queen and Junior Princess age groups.  Babies and Toddlers should wear Sunday school attire.
