FGCU’s Alumni Relations Launches New Online Community
A new online community is making it easier for graduates of Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) to stay connected to classmates and their alma mater.
The university’s Alumni Relations department launched a new website at alumni.fgcu.edu that acts as a one-stop, comprehensive platform for social and professional engagement. The site enables alumni to network with other graduates in their geographic area or in their profession, locate friends and classmates they might have lost touch with, search for career opportunities, renew membership in the Alumni Association, make a financial contribution to FGCU and stay up to date on the latest alumni activities and campus news.
“This new community will be a valuable asset for making and maintaining connections among people with common history and shared interests,” said FGCU Alumni Director Kimberly Wallace. “With FGCU awarding its 20,000th degree this spring, our alumni are a growing worldwide presence. They may be scattered far and wide, but this community will bring them closer together through pride in the university.”
Alumni who register at alumni.fgcu.edu by June 30 will be entered in a drawing to win an iPad2. For more information, contact Wallace at (239) 590-1087 or email@example.com.
