Ford Mustang Splits in Half During Crash
Raymond A Perez’s, 19, Ford Mustang was split in half after the impact with a pickup at the intersection of Bell Boulevard South and Palmer Street East.
According to the FHP report, the driver of the Mustang was driving at high speed and passing cars in the no-passing zone before it hit the Yellow Chevy pickup drove by James L Scheibe, 58.
The report reads that the Mustang tried to veer out of the way but lost control and hit the truck head-on. Upon contact, Mustang car split into two pieces with the back end landing in the woods nearly 100 feet from the point of impact. The front half continued, hitting a tree and a power pole before coming to rest facing north on Bell Blvd
FHP states that the Mustang’s driver was cited for careless driving and failure to exhibit a driver’s license.
