Four Vehicle Accident – One Taken To Hospital in Critical Condition

A motorcyclist rear-ended a car before seconds being run over by a second vehicle, according to Lee County deputies.

The collision happened just after 9:00 P.M. Wednesday night at Alabama Road South and Navajo Avenue, at the entrance of Vista Palms apartment complex.

When the driver of that car got out and attempted to stop traffic and keep the already injured motorcyclist safe, the rider was run over by a second vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and is currently in critical condition.

The roads are still blocked off from Navajo Avenue and North Gifford Avenue.
