Heavy Voting Lines Facing Some Voters in Lehigh Acres

Many voters are facing lengthy lines to cast their ballots on this Election Day 2012. There have been many stories of two-plus hour wait times have rolled in from precincts across Lehigh Acres

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

If you have an absentee ballot that you haven’t turned in yet, you need to do so at the Main Elections Office downtown Ft. Myers by 7:00 p.m. or it won’t be counted.

You’re asked to remember to being a photo ID and come prepared because the ballots are long with some complicated state Constitutional amendments
