GATOR CAGE AWARDS- (A $2,000 value with much more at stake)
Have you ever watched Shark Tank on TV?
Inventors present their products or ideas to a group of investors.
Any or all of the investors can decide to put money into the venture.
This is not a grant or a loan. It is an investment with the ultimate goal of generating profits for all involved.
Southwest Florida has its own brand of Shark Tank and it is called
GATOR CAGE!
This is a creation of the Entrepreneur Society of Naples or ESON.
This first time award recognizes 4 students who have been selected by members of ESON. Karl Gibbons, one of the members, is here tonight
to present these students with the opportunity to be coached by mentors before going into the Gator Cage to see if they can convince one or more investors to help finance the venture! Students do not compete against one another in the Gator Cage. Whether or not the student receives funding is based on the inventions own marketability.
