Lee County EOC Lifts All Mandatory Evacuations

Although it is too early to know its path for certain, Southwest Florida is now under a Hurricane Warning from Tropical Storm Isaac. That means you need to get prepared.

EVACUATIONS

ALL mandatory evacuations have been lifted.

GENERAL

If you’re scheduled to fly out of Fort Myers, Sarasota or Tampa in the next few days, your flight may be affected by Isaac. If you need to change your flight because of the storm, you may be able to make those changes without paying additional charges. Check with your airline for specific details about their policies for storm related changes.

POWER OUTAGES
FPL has reported some outages.

- Charlotte – 100 customers
- Lee – 280
- Collier – 520
- DeSoto – 20
- Hendry – 10

LCEC has reported some outages.

- Marco Island: 500 customers without power
- North Fort Myers: 125 customers without power
- Cape Coral:  6 customers without power
