Burglary Suspect Arrested

On Jan 9, 2013, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to an Occupied Burglary at 217 Hines Avenue in Lehigh Acres.

Upon our arrival, the victim stated he was in his locked home when he heard knocking at his front door. The victim did not answer the door but looked out the window and observed an unknown black male. The subject rang the doorbell incessantly and knocked loudly but he did not answer. He observed the male go around the north side of the house and to the back and look in the rear windows. The victim remained quietly in his home and the male returned to the front door. The subject then kicked  in  the door breaking the door jamb and lock assembly. When the victim heard the door break he ran to his garage and retrieved a machete.

The victim gave chase with the machete and the black male yelled at him “this was for your son breaking up my house” the victim responded “I have no son”. As the suspect ran to a white SUV parked in the driveway. Once the suspect was in his vehicle, he attempted to run over the victim as he fled the scene.

The suspect was described as a light skin black male with a thin build around 5’11 to 6′ tall with short to medium length hair without dreads wearing a short sleeve shirt and baggie gray sweatpants.

Responding deputies were provided with a detailed vehicle and suspect description. Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area for the suspect and the suspect vehicle. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for a traffic violation and the burglary investigation. The driver fit the description of the suspect described in the occupied burglary and was positively identified by the victim as the suspect who unlawfully entered his residence. The suspect was identified as Kevin Dumas. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling and one count of aggravated assault.

   LOL! Looks at pic, insert a racist term. Then wonder why this Dumas, ie Dumbass even bothers living. With a name like Dumbass you just have to bend over and enjoy your bad luck. LOL!
