Lehigh Acres VFW Post 4174 Sponsors Essay Contest

Twenty students from James Stephens International Academy participated in the “Patriots pen essay contest” through the Lehigh Acres VFW post 4174.

This essay contest is a national contest given by the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).  This year the theme was “What would you tell our founding fathers?”. The winner, Elliot Declet went to the district finals to be judged and came in 3^rd place.
