Starts With Open Hearts

Lehigh Spring started with missing three well-known people this year.

Danny Stephenson, master of ceremonies for the Lehigh Spring Festival, died of a stroke June 15..

Burr Alvin Voelker, 91, of Lehigh Acres and formerly of Marshfield and Chili, Wis., passed away Feb. 18, while vacationing on a cruise near Saint Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

And Ted York, a member of the group Ted & Katie, passed away in June. The duo sang and performed together at numerous Spring Festivals.
