Lloyd Ludlow Williams, age 80, of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away suddenly with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

He was born on May 29, 1932 in Riversdale, St. Catherine on the island of Jamaica and was the proud son of Louise (Dunbar) and Jonathan Williams.

Lloyd spent the last eight years in sunny Florida after relocating here from Ohio. He greatly enjoyed the game of soccer throughout his life but was really drawn to music. He loved listening and playing jazz and turned this passion into talent as a piano player . His knowledge and love for jazz music earned him the nickname “Blues.”

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his former wife Molly, his two daughters, Jacqueline (Henry) Bailey and Sonja Williams; his grandchildren Henry, Victoria, Sheirelle, Mich-El-la and Kelila Baliey and and Ana Williams; his sister Aileen Johnston and brother Victor (Monica) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandson Julian A. Bailey.

A Memorial Service for Lloyd will be celebrated on at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres, Florida 33971, (239) 368-7080.
