Mary F. Orrach, 85

Mary Frances Orrach, age 85 of Lehigh Acres Florida, passed away on Saturday February 23 after a short illness. A loving wife and mother she had been preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William, her brother George and her sister Rita. She goes to join them at peace. Mary is survived by her brother, Benjamin of Staten Island New York. She had four sons, Thomas (North Fort Meyers), Lawrence (Avon Lake, OH), Robert, (Lehigh Acres) and Robert (Sunnyvale, CA). She was grandmother to eight grandchildren (Tara and Melissa, Cheryll and Graig, Chanda and Adam, Emily and Andrew). Four great grandchildren (Connor and Lauren, Luke and Brooke) were blessed to share in her life and to also call her grandmother. Many nieces and nephews and their children also shared in her life. Mary was a life-long dedicated homemaker devoted to raising her sons and supporting her husband’s career. Born in New York City in 1927 to George and Nellie Baldwin, she lived in the New York area until 1992 when she relocated to Lehigh Acres upon her husband’s retirement. Her golden years were spent enjoying the fruits of her life. An exceedingly caring person, who never had an unkind word to say about anyone, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
