On Jan. 20 2011 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan; Sgt. Jason G. Amores, 29, of Lehigh Acres, Fla was killed. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. (more…)
