Fort Myers Police are currently searching for a suspect involved in the robbery of Wells Fargo Bank on Lee Blvd and State Road 82.

Police say the alarm happened just before 4:30 p.m.

According to police, a man in an orange sweatshirt jumped the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect ran on foot behind the Publix.

No one was injured; but the police are still searching for the suspect.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a dark skinned male wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
