** UPDATE: The Precautionary Boil Water Notice issued (Thursday, November 30th, 2017) to approximately 400 Lehigh Acres Utility System customers along Curtis Avenue N., to Westage Boulevard and all services from North Gunnery Road, South Gunnery Road, and West of Gunnery Road, North and South of Lee Boulevard and Leonard Boulevard with areas surrounding these streets that may have experienced low pressure is no longer in effect. All biological testing samples were negative and therefore you may resume water usage as normal. The samples were analyzed by a Florida Department of Health-certified laboratory that confirmed the drinking water is safe to drink.
The FGUA would like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during this time and thank you for your patience during the Precautionary Boil Water Notice period. We appreciate your assistance in notifying your neighbors that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory is no longer in effect.
