School Bus Accident
in Buckingham

There has been an accident involving a school bus, according to crews with the Tice Fire Department.

Officials we spoke with say the accident happened near the intersection of Buckingham Road and Park Road.

Buckingham has been closed in both directions because of that crash; but the road has since reopened.

FHP is handling the accident and troopers say they got the call around 4:30 p.m.

We have found out that one student was on the bus at the time of the crash; but they were not injured. The driver of the bus is OK as well.

The driver of the Jeep, the other vehicle involved in the crash, was taken from the scene via helicopter to Lee Memorial Hospital.
