   DESCRIPTION:
   There’s a story to be told in the skies over the CREW Watershed. Join us for an educational trek through our SW Florida evening sky. We’ll be in a large open field with an unobstructed view of the night sky. We might even see fireflies along the edges of the clearing!

   Among the objects you will see are the Milkyway, the planet Jupiter and four of it’s moons, satellites, galaxies, and maybe even a stray meteor sliding quietly overhead. Participants will get to use two 10” telescopes to help them see objects in the sky.

   Perfect for families with children! Children under 12 participate for free. Children must be supervised by their parents/guardians.

   Bring lawn chairs and blankets, a dim flashlight, snacks, refreshment and a sense of wonder.
   CREW Volunteer Linda S. Jacobson and her husband, Jim, will be your Night Sky Tour Guides for this stargazing event.
