Suspects Pistol Whip
and Rob Elderly Man

Lee County deputies are searching for three suspects involved in a violent home invasion on the 3700 block of 3rd St. SW Monday night. An 83-year-old man was pistol whipped and robbed inside his house just before midnight.

The victim told deputies two men and a woman, all of whom were wearing masks, entered through the front door while he was watching TV. Once inside, one of the men hit the victim in the head several times, demanding money and guns. The three suspects then took an unknown amount of cash and two firearms from the residence and left through the front door.

The victim called his neighbor for help.

The victim told deputies he may have left his front door unlocked, and that there were no lights on in the house while he was watching TV. He was taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center for treatment.
