SUV Driver Injured in Collision

A woman was injured when her SUV hit the rear of a semi cab at 23rd Street SW and Susan Avenue South in Lehigh Acres Thursday Sept 20, 2012.

The driver of a Ford Explorer SUV did not realize traffic in front of her was stopped when she rear ended the semi cab.

She suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lee Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

FHP is investigating accident.
