Bass Club Results from Lake Placid: 1st place Rick and Rory Sellers 14.15 lbs.
2nd place Jimmy and Charles Bass 12.91, 3rd place Dave Horne and Chad Barger 12.35 lbs. Big Bass was 6.50 lbs caught by Rory Sellers. Congrats Anglers.

When you think of Lehigh, you don’t think of men who love fishing. But there is a group of about two dozen men who would rather fish than do much else. This group of anglers, from a nine-year-old boy to men who are in their 70s meets on Thursdays once a month.

The Lehigh Acres Bass Club was founded in 1991 by George Kinney, who passed away later that year. The club has fished on since in his memory with an average of 30 members every year. Currently the club meets at Frogg’s Automotive, 1154 South Loop Blvd. in Lehigh Acres (big green building across from the Lehigh Acres Post Office).
