Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash Fright night.

A mother and her child were taken to the hospital after being hit by an SUV while crossing 4th Street SW.

FHP said the two were attempting to cross when they were struck by a Toyota SUV and thrown to the ground.

Rollover crash

Sunday morning rollover crash 1st Street West and Lee Boulevard may have involved alcohol, FHP said.
According to a witness the driver the vehicle lost control on a curve and slid across two businesses before rolling the car and ending up on its roof.

The driver refused onsite treatment by paramedics.

The crash is currently under investigation by FHP.
