Tropical Storm Arlene Forms in Atlantic

A rare April tropical storm has formed over the north Atlantic
At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Arlene was located near latitude 37.7 North, longitude 42.0 West. Arlene is moving toward the west-northwest near 25 mph (41 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue until dissipation on Friday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Arlene is forecast to become absorbed by a large extratropical low and dissipate on Friday.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km) from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 993 mb (29.33 inches).
