Verandah Community of Fort Myers to Host 9-Hole Pro Match
Lee Memorial Health System Foundation announces the “Verandah Pros Play for Golisano Children’s Hospital” is set for Monday, Jan. 14 at the Verandah Community located at 11571 Verandah Blvd. in Fort Myers.
PGA Tour player Derek Lamely, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven, Symetra Tour Player Michelle Shin and Verandah’s Director of Golf Nathan Groce will be among the stars hitting the links in support of local children’s health care.
Sponsorships from $250-$2,500 are available and include autographs from the players, signage and entry fees. The event begins with a warm-up session at 2 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. tee-off. A reception at Verandah’s River House will follow at 5:00PM.
Entry fee/observer entrance is granted with a minimum donation of $25 to the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
The event includes refreshments, a caddie auction and chance drawings. Proceeds will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to the generosity of Mr. B. Thomas Golisano and will support construction of the new Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida—a 128 bed pediatric medical facility being built on the grounds of HealthPark Medical Center in South Fort Myers.
